LRS is currently broadcasting Spanish- and Portuguese-language programs provided by Radio Bilingüe, Radio Netherlands, Radio France International, The Voice of America, Radio Canada International, the United Nations and the University of Illinois (Nuevos Horizontes).
Programs from other international broadcasters such as Radio Educación (Mexico), Radio Exterior de España and the Deutsche Welle as well as programs from Latin American stations and locally produced and live programs may be added in the future.
If you know of a good Spanish- or Portuguese-language radio program (news, information, science, culture or music) available on the Internet from a noncommercial station, please let us know. We are particularly interested in programs originating in Latin American countries and programs in "easy" Spanish or Portuguese designed for non-native listeners of these languages.
