Michael Waugh is an Associate Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. His primary research interest is in establishing the impact and long term value of instructional interactions on electronic networks. He was recently Co-Principal Investigator with Jim Levin on a National Science Foundation grant to examine how computer networking can be integrated into teacher education programs in order to facilitate apprenticeship experiences between students, teachers, student teachers, professors, private sector businesspeople and other individuals interested in participating in the educational process.
